From annoyed consultants to happy winemakers
We are Nicola and Guido — two friends who, in 2015, walked away from our consulting jobs with a simple conviction: our family vineyards deserved more than being sold as low-priced grapes.
We grew up among vineyards, olive trees, and the coastline of Western Sicily, and we knew those places had much more to say.
Our mission became clear:
to make wines that truly taste like our land — with no shortcuts, no tricks, just nature and craftsmanship.
Elios is our way to stay connected to the place that shaped us, and to share its stories, its light, and its flavours with people from all over the world.

From the left: Glou Glou style red light wine from Nerello Mascalese, Red wine from Nero d’Avola grapes aged in chestnut, Catarratto Orange wine, Catarratto-Grillo-Muscat Orange wine, White wine from Grillo grapes, Traditional method sparkling wine aged 20 months on the lees from Catarratto grapes.
